Dalmore Constellation Collection Vintage 1976 Cask 3 with 0.7 l and 51.1% vol.
In 1976, fresh bourbon barrels were filled with distillate at The Dalmore and placed in the distillery's warehouses for a long time in order to achieve an aromatic and tasteful one never known before to achieve perfection. The barrels and especially the Cask 3, which was bottled here, were stored for a full 35 years. The long years in oak have by no means diminished the elegance of this outstanding single malt. The "American White Oak Cask" merely retained the character of the alcohol instead of dominating it with its porous coat of charm.

The Constellation Collection towers over the Dalmore brand like a star in the firmament. The series consists of a number of special casks that saw the light of day after their storage time in strictly limited single cask bottlings. Colour:Amber, iridescent gold with reflections of copper.
Nose:Cream caramel, vanilla butterscotch and marzipan are intertwined with pineapple, tangerine, lemon cheesecake and sandalwood.These flavors are finally fused with bold nougat, peach melba and ginger.
Palate:Green apples with peaches and cream, soft toffee, kiwis and macaroons open up before an ingenious firework display of Turkish Delight, honey pears, freshly baked rye bread and marzipan.
